Set on a sought-after residential street moments from Blackhorse Road and Walthamstow Marshes, this beautifully refurbished five-bedroom home unfolds across three spacious floors. A versatile garden room provides valuable additional living or working space, while behind the handsome double-bay frontage, bright and thoughtfully designed interiors combine contemporary style with a calm, welcoming atmosphere throughout.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

Step inside and the front reception sets a lovely tone, with a bay window and oak herringbone flooring underfoot. Along the hallway, you’ll find a downstairs WC before reaching the kitchen, which sits at the centre of the ground floor. Beyond this, the extended rear reception creates a generous living and dining area, with rooflights overhead and folding doors opening to the landscaped rear garden.

Upstairs, the first floor is home to three bedrooms and a family bathroom. The front bedroom spans the width of the house, while two further bedrooms sit towards the rear. The bathroom is well arranged, with both a bath and separate shower. The loft level adds two more bedrooms, including a wonderfully spacious main room, plus a shower room.

Outside, the landscaped garden offers a peaceful place to eat, unwind and gather in warmer months. At the end, the garden room provides valuable extra flexibility, whether used as a home office, studio, hobby room or quiet retreat.

word from the expert...

“I love living in Walthamstow – it’s got such a great mix of things going on. Saturdays are my favourite, with the market in Lloyd Park full of fresh food, handmade bits, and plenty of friendly faces. The new Soho Theatre has brought amazing shows right to our doorstep, and if I fancy a pint, the Blackhorse Beer Mile breweries are perfect for a wander. When I need some fresh air, the Walthamstow Wetlands are just a short stroll away – all that greenery makes you completely forget you’re in London. Plus, with brilliant transport links, it’s so easy to hop on the Tube or Overground and be in Central London in no time at all”. WILLIAM JACKSON E17 ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Blenheim Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
