An elegant, bright and stately one bedroom apartment on the first floor of a Victorian conversion, just off our famous High Street. St James Street station is on your doorstep, along with CRATE St James and our famous High Street market.

The longest of its kind in Europe, Walthamstow High Street market attracts visitors from miles around. Great for fresh produce and almost anything else you can imagine. If you can't buy it here you probably don't really need it.

IF YOU LIVED HERE

You'll be enjoying plenty of natural light and graceful Design & Decor throughout. Your front lounge comes in at a plentiful 175 square feet, with a soft grey paintjob up to the picture rail and complementary carpet underfoot. Double glazed windows let the light in and a vintage ebony hearth and mantel takes centre stage.

Next door's your bedroom, a similarly styled substantial double of 120 square feet, followed by your bathroom; sleek, chic and fully tiled from tub to ceiling. To the rear, your kitchen/diner offers another 140 square feet of sociable space, the seamless fitted kitchen sat behind a breakfast bar while the dual aspect dining area basks in light from the Juliet balcony to the rear.

Outside and, as noted, St James Street station is barely a moment or two away on foot. From here Liverpool Street is just twenty minutes direct, putting The City less than a half hour away door to door. Heading to the West End? The Victoria line is just a half mile on foot via Blackhorse Road, and practically at the top of the line so you can have your pick of seats.

WHAT ELSE

- CRATE St James is right on your doorstep next to the station. Our latest social hub, here you'll find a whole host of independent entrepreneurs, from craft breweries and burger bars to yoga studios and hairdressers.
- London's largest nature reserve, the Green Flag award winning, 500 acre Walthamstow Wetlands is just a half mile on foot anytime you need an escape from city living.?- For your new local, we have to recommend a personal favourite. The Chequers is a real 'stow institution, just a few minutes up the High Street and home to plenty of bright spaces and cosy nooks to enjoy a range of real ales, fine wines and the delicious menu.

a word from the expert...

"For me it’s the sheer variety you find in each pocket of Walthamstow that makes working and socialising here so enjoyable. Whether it’s having a coffee from Perky Blenders, going for a Sunday morning walk in Epping Forest, dropping into one of the local breweries in Blackhorse Road, or catching up with friends in Lloyd Park, the growth and positive changes within E17 have been incredible in recent years."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Blackhorse Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
