A gorgeously finished three bedroom Warner home, bursting with original features, vintage style and character across more than 1100 square feet of lovable living space, plus rear garden. All ideally placed just moments from our famous high street.

There's plenty more on your doorstep, with a choice of transport links, open green spaces, all kinds of nightlife and excellent schools all just around the corner.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

Immediate impressions are breathtaking, your handsome brick frontage features ornate original mouldings over the front door and a striking Dormer gable for a truly palatial facade. Step inside and the vintage style continues, with original floorboards flowing underfoot throughout, and nowhere to greater effect than in your 220 square foot dual aspect lounge. In here you have original sash windows, plus an artfully restored timber mantel, home to a working woodburner.

Across the hall your second lounge is just as stylish, with a pristine white and pastel paint job. It's all laid open to your kitchen, with the original flooring giving way to vintage geometric tiling sat between twin flanks of cream, timber-topped cabinets with smoky grey metro tile splashbacks. Double patio doors lead out to your garden, a smartly landscaped mix of timber decking, Trulawn and lush foliage.

Climb the covetable timber staircase now for your sleeping arrangements. A pair of 130 square foot double bedrooms sit to the front, each with striking statement walls and twin sash windows dressed in bistro shutters. Another double sits to the rear, 100 square feet finished in smoky grey with a garden view. Finally your family bathroom – as splendidly stylish as the rest of your new home, with freestanding clawfoot bathtub, immaculate metro tiles and walk in rainfall shower.

Outside and you have highlights of our beloved borough on all sides. Blackhorse Road and St James Street stations are both just a five minute stroll away, for direct twenty minute runs to Oxford Circus and Liverpool Street, respectively. So you have both the City and West End less than a half hour away door to door, but if you're staying local be sure to explore the Blackhorse Beer Mile, a collection of independent breweries, tap rooms and beer gardens starting just the other side of the station.

WHAT ELSE?

- Looking to get back to nature? The 500 acre Walthamstow Wetlands, London's largest nature reserve, is just a half mile on foot. Endlessly explorable and the perfect place to blow away the cobwebs.
- Parents are well served for local schools, with eighteen 'Outstanding' or 'Good' primary/secondaries all less than a mile away on foot.
- You have a superb choice of places to eat and drink nearby, but one in particular is very special. Just a half mile away on foot you have supperclub.tube, the only place in London where you can enjoy Latin American fusion food in a decommissioned tube carriage. Booking is essential.

a word from the expert...

"For me it’s the sheer variety you find in each pocket of Walthamstow that makes working and socialising here so enjoyable.  Whether it’s having a coffee from Perky Blenders, going for a Sunday morning walk in Epping Forest, dropping into one of the local breweries in Blackhorse Road, or catching up with friends in Lloyd Park, the growth and positive changes within E17 have been incredible in recent years."   KIM HEYWOOD E17 BRANCH MANAGER

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Blackhorse Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
