This stunning two bedroom penthouse apartment on the fourth floor of the popular Copper Works has a wraparound roof terrace with breathtaking views across London.

It’s in a great location, just a stone’s throw from the open spaces of Walthamstow Wetlands yet round the corner from the High Street and just a four minute walk to St James Street overground station with fast journeys into the City.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

You would consider yourself to be very lucky indeed. This amazing penthouse apartment has panoramic views from all rooms and from the spectacular terrace. The vista spans 360 degrees from the wetlands to the west to the City to the south.

This is lateral living at its best, with over 815 sq ft of living space in addition to the huge terrace. All rooms are accessed via a large central hallway which has good natural light from south and west-facing windows. The layout has been carefully considered. Both bedrooms are at one end of the apartment, separated from the main open-plan living space by a central hub that houses the ensuite to the main bedroom and the guest bathroom. Both bedrooms have views onto and beyond the terrace.

The main living space is vast, with windows on two sides and doors onto the wraparound terrace. the terrace extends out at one end to create a large triangular space at the corner of the building, similar to the prow of a ship, with panoramic views, including the City in the distance. The linear kitchen is well-designed and unobtrusive, with bespoke Italian cabinetry, polished worktops, handleless cabinets, integrated Bosch appliances and feature lighting.

a word from the owner......

"We've loved living in Copper Works for the last four years, when we first entered the flat I was struck by how light and bright it was, even on a rainy November's day. Then you realise that we have the most incredible view of London from the balcony, we've watched the Shard illuminate at New Year's Eve, Canary Wharf light up in support of Ukraine and we watch birds and geese fly over every day on their way to the Wetlands, it can be quite magical, and with the balcony wrapping around the flat, we get brilliant sunsets and sunrises. The flat is also incredibly low maintenance, with wood floors throughout. It stays beautifully warm in the winter (we barely have the heating on) and thanks to having windows and external doors on all sides, it stays nice and cool in the summer. We also love having a large, bright hallway and a large shelved larder to keep all sort of jars and nicknacks. Having two bathrooms feels like a real luxury when we have guests to stay, and we have plenty of room to both work from home. We also find the flat surprisingly quiet and peaceful despite our central location, we get no noise from other flats and barely notice the road. The flat feels nice and safe, due to the CCTV and two secure entrance doors, and our lovely friendly neighbours. 2 If we were staying in London, we'd be very happy to stay in the flat for years to come!"

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Blackhorse Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
