a word from the owner...

"I’ve thoroughly enjoyed living in this property for the past three years. The newly installed Magnet kitchen truly sets the flat apart from the others in the block – and as someone who loves to cook, it’s been an absolute pleasure. The neighbours form a lovely, tight-knit and supportive community. Another advantage is the flat’s excellent insulation; amazingly, I’ve only needed to turn on the heating once throughout my entire time here! Just a 10-minute walk to Clapton station, which is a further 10 minutes to Liverpool Street, it’s a commuter’s dream. The area is filled with local gems, including the underrated and never-busy Springfield Park, the tranquil Walthamstow Wetlands, and the scenic Lea River canal path – it’s easy to forget you're in Zone 2! The Crooked Billet is an excellent pub, and there are also fantastic eateries, such as Chatsworth Road Market, Lucky & Joy, and Mambow – Time Out’s Best Restaurant of the Year."

Hackney

Big Hill, Hackney — Stow Brothers

Where do you start with Hackney? It can feel like it’s all been said before, but, of course, it can’t have been because the area is constantly evolving, which is what keeps it so fresh. It’s just what happens when a neighbourhood has such a high population of creative innovators.

Even fans of Hackney’s scruffier edges love the imaginative ways that the area has been regenerated, with thoughtfully-designed stores, bars and coffee shops sitting comfortably alongside sleek architecture and beloved institutions such as Ridley Road Market.

Despite all this urban buzz, the area has a surprisingly large amount of green space, including Hackney Wick, Victoria Park and London Fields, which fill up with a mix of visitors and locals at weekends. Whether they go on to have food at a Michelin-starred restaurant, a pint in The Talbot or a swim in the lido, they’re all united in their love of this most unique community.
