Your apartment enjoys flawless interiors throughout with over 900 square feet of exceptionally generous living space. On the ground floor you'll find your entrance hallway, large enough for storing bikes with feature brick wall leading you to the first floor. Through to your stunningly bright, open-plan reception room spans over 270 square feet, a living/kitchen area drenched in sunlight from two large windows, all brightly accentuated by muted grey walls and pristine hardwood flooring. At one end sits a cast-iron period fireplace in perfect condition. The other end a sleekly integrated kitchen sparkles, featuring glazed white herringbone tiles, off white cabinets, marble effect worktops, inbuilt cooker hood and more of that blonde hardwood flooring. Your bathroom, handily situated off the first floor hallway, a tasteful monochrome affair, featuring tub, a striking shower shower enclosure, hexagonal wall tiles and mosaic style floor. Your two brightly sunlit double bedrooms are equally spotless and luxuriously carpeted throughout. The principle bedroom even has a dressing room. Finally, your hallway is spacious, a perfect space for working from home and flooded with light thanks to the large window. Outside and the many and varied charms of Walthamstow Village are on your doorstep. Your first stop will likely be family-friendly The Castle for mouth-watering Sunday roasts and a lovable beer garden. Then make your way to Orford Road, The Village's original high street, for a peaceful gathering of part-pedestrianised streets and a diverse range of bars, restaurants and gourmet pubs. You'll find your own favourites but may we recommend the delicious tapas at The Orford Saloon, perhaps picking up something from their deli next door? Or the freshly-fried offerings of Orford's Fish'n'Chips?

a word from the expert...

“I have worked in Walthamstow for over seven years, and I still enjoy the buzz in the area. From the scene in Walthamstow Central which offers Collab, Gokyuzu and the Empire cinema. Take a short stroll to the famous William Morris gallery which is located on the popular Lloyd Park surrounded by beautiful green scenery. Walthamstow Village has been a popular trend for me over the years with its bubbly night life and quirky pubs. My personal favourite is The Village Pub. There are four train stations in Walthamstow. Walthamstow Central, Wood Street, Blackhorse Road and Walthamstow Queens Road. I have commuted to and from Central London from Walthamstow Train Station which takes less than 20 minutes so I can see why Walthamstow has the nickname awsomestow”.

Our Local Guide:

Beulah Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
