An artistically appointed, flawlessly finished three-bedroom Victorian semi-detached home, handsomely brick-fronted and thoughtfully designed throughout. While it already comes in at a sizeable 1285 square foot, there’s even potential to extend.

Beyond the beautifully landscaped rear garden with side access, you’ll find Highams Park and Walthamstow within easy reach, meaning speedy access to fantastic amenities, excellent transport links and the ancient woodlands of Epping Forest.

What’s more, the property benefits from being chain free, greatly reducing the hassle of moving.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

Behind that immaculate front garden and immaculate brickwork, the double-reception area is bursting with light thanks to the large bay windows. From the custom shutters to the bespoke carpentry and the wooden flooring to the column radiators, every inch has been considered. This attention to detail has also been applied at the rear in the charming kitchen, where you’ll struggle to pick your favourite feature, with highlights including the butler basin, double oven, rustic flooring and timber cabinets.

The adjacent conservatory is stunning, fitting for the home’s Victorian roots yet still a masterpiece of design today. The doors here open up onto the brilliant 45 foot south-east facing rear garden, which has an incredible array of foliage as well as a sizeable patio and pergola.

Upstairs, you’ll find a stylish family-sized bathroom with modern fittings and a cheery colour palette, while the three bedrooms are just as pristine, each with custom storage and spotless decor.

Although you’re positioned close enough to Woodford and Walthamstow to benefit from those neighbourhoods, Highams Park is your nearest station - a seven minute stroll away. From there you can nip to Liverpool Street on the overground in around 25 minutes (or change at Walthamstow Central for the Victoria line and whizz to the West End). En route to the station, you’ll spot some excellent amenities, including Vino Tap, The Stag & Lantern Micropub and Melting Pot Bistro. There’s also the convenience of a Tesco Superstore and other chains should you need essentials.

The neighbourhood is home to a huge amount of greenery, particularly since it’s located at the cusp of the whopping Epping Forest, but Highams Park itself is quite magnificent, with its lake and landscaped gardens.

a word from the owner.....

"I moved to this location primarily to be near the schools and transport links. In the 16 years that I have been living here, I have rarely used my car as we have been very lucky with the various parks, pubs and restaurants not to mention Tesco right on our door step. I was initially drawn to this house by the entrance of the property. The side entrance and South East facing garden was an added bonus. In all honesty, this was meant to be my forever home however as all my children have since flown the nest it is time I downsize and move closer to my grandchildren. I hope this home will make the next owners as happy and content as it has truly made me and my family."

Our Local Guide:
Highams Park

Beech Hall Road, Highams Park — Stow Brothers

Not everyone in the capital has heard of Highams Park, and that’s only a good thing. Although it’s well connected to Central London on the Overground to Liverpool Street, it’s tucked out of sight enough to ensure that the picturesque woodland and coffee shops have a slightly exclusive feel. That’s not to say that the locals are a cliquey bunch though – far from it, they’ve been welcoming savvy families and individuals after a little more bang for their buck for years.

All the extra space offered up from Epping Forest and Highams Park itself might be the main draw, but newcomers stay for the perks; the silver-lining of the secret slowly getting out is a vibrant and buzzing community which has created a lively food and drink scene.
