Bell Corner's a five minute stroll away for an impressive array of vegetarian and vegan offerings, as well as one of our borough's most popular gastropubs, the Bell. This grand old Victorian pub's cosy fires in winter and sun-drenched beer garden in summer make for a fine destination all year round.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You'll love being end of terrace and just a two minute stroll from the greenery of Lloyd Park. Head through your own white front door and you'll land straight in the heart of your new home ñ your 240 square foot, dual aspect kitchen/lounge. Your kitchen area's home to a white suite of cabinets, glossy pewter splashbacks and marbled black countertops, while the lounge area comes with an on-trend statement wall and projector fittings. A huge plus for film buffs.

Step through the rear door and your private garden's seventeen feet long, with secondary access from the road (ideal for barbecues!). It's a colourful and low-maintenance mix of gravel surrounded by pots and raised beds. Back inside and the bathroom's dressed in white with a shower over the tub and vintage fixtures and fittings. Lastly, your bedroom's a large double of 125 square feet. In here a bay window frames leafy yet private street views, while another on-trend statement wall makes for an utterly stylish sleeper.

Outside and transport's a cinch multiple cycle routes run just outside, and four bus routes serve Chingford Road. These will ferry you to a handy array of destinations day and night, including central Walthamstow and Stratford. If you fancy walking, Walthamstow Central station is seventeen minutes away on foot. Twenty minute shuttles to the West End serve here, while the Overground will wind you over the rolling hills and heathland of North London and beyond.

a word from the owner...

"This flat is in the perfect location, just on the doorstep of Lloyd Park. The garden is great to peacefully relax in the nice weather, and the side entrance makes easy access for me and my bike after I enjoyed a refreshing ride to the nearby Wetlands. The area is rich in a variety of food options, from cute cafes to every kind of restaurants and the Saturday Food market outside the William Morris Gallery. There is an artsy vibe to the area, that is buzzing with galleries and cool cultural spots that add so much character to the neighbourhood. Getting around is a breeze, with Walthamstow Central and Blackhorse Road in easy reach, and plenty of bus routes just around the corner, making it super easy to hop on the Victoria Line or catch an Overground train. So, in a nutshell, Lloyd Park isn't just a place to live; it's a community where you've got the best of city life and the laid-back charm of nature. "

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Bedford Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
