a word from the owner...

"This house is so unique and takes everyone by surprise when they arrive here. Its bright, open and most of all inviting. We have loved calling this place a home and have made so many amazing memories here. The big garden is perfect for summer bbqs and the open lounge and dining room makes a perfect space to host those winter dinners and Christmas parties. We feel very grateful to have so much space living in London and with the driveway on the front, it makes us a little smug to arrive home and not have to hunt for on road parking! It’s great for public transport with the central line, Lizzie line and overground so close, all of London feels very accessible from here. We have enjoyed walks throughout the year in Epping forest and The famous Leytonstone Tavern is quite literally on the doorstep where we love a Sunday roast or a quiet drink. We also really enjoy biking the short ride to Hackney Wick and spending time down by the river. If you’re a coffee lover like us there’s so many gorgeous spots minutes away in every direction, you’re spoilt for choice! But if you like a Sunday at home you can curl up on the bed with a book with the double doors open to the garden, sun on your face and feel totally relaxed in this quiet area. It really has been a dream house and we hope you find as much love as we did here."

Our Local Guide:
Leytonstone

Beachcroft Road, Leytonstone — Stow Brothers

There’s more to Leytonstone than first meets the eye. Say the name to one person and they might think of the grand houses around Hollow Ponds, while say it to someone else and they’ll mention burgeoning South Leytonstone, or maybe the popular Bushwood. There are many different pockets, but they’re all united by the same inclusive community who recognise that it’s the balance of it all that makes Leytonstone so great.

The centre is arguably the high street with its eclectic shops and eateries, but you only have to venture slightly further away and you’ll come across hidden gems like bar Filly Brook on Grove Green Road, music venue Luna Lounge in Bushwood, or the The Hitchcock Hotel in Upper Leytonstone. Travel a little beyond and you’ll find further contrast with the vast green space that Hollow Ponds and the Wanstead Flats provide. Simply put, you’ll never get bored in Leytonstone.
