IF YOU LIVED HERE…

You'll be enjoying all the fruits of the recent refurbishment, with diverse design & décor finished to the highest of standards throughout. Immaculately restored vintage timber floorboards run underfoot in your 250 square foot through lounge, echoing the property's impressive heritage, along with a striking original hearth and mantel. A blank hearth to the rear and tower radiator provide some contemporary trim.

There's more modern style in your kitchen to the rear. A sleek suite of glossy grey cabinets line the walls, topped with chunky overlit timber work surfaces. Slate effect flagstones lie underfoot, and there's a splendid view of your garden. Step out here for a timber deck, lush lawn and handy shed, all nicely secluded by high fencing and mature greenery. Upstairs and your principal bedroom's a handsome 130 square foot, pristine in white with integrated wardrobes.

Bedroom two is another sizeable double, while your family bathroom sits resplendent in jade green metro tiling running from floor to ceiling over the tub, along with a gleaming rainfall shower. A vintage suite completes the aesthetic. Upstairs your loft conversion offers two more sleepers, including a glorious, skylit double to the front, and your second bathroom – a chic shower room in peach and smoky grey.

Outside and it's just a third of a mile on foot to Leytonstone tube station. From here the central line will whisk you directly to Liverpool Street in fifteen minutes or Tottenham Court Road in twenty four, putting both the City and West End around a half hour away, door to door. If you're staying local, all the amenities and attractions of Leyton High Road are on your doorstep, including the grand and historical Red Lion Public House, Hotel and Ballroom. Just three minutes on foot to enjoy real ales, fine wines and a delicious menu in stately surroundings.

a word from the owner...

"We've loved living here since 2019 and Leytonstone is such a great neighbourhood to live in. We've grown our family here and have made some lovely friends on the street. We didn't know we were doing it at the time, but buying a house with all of this space just prior to covid allowed us to both work from home comfortably during the pandemic. The garden has been a pet project of mine to regrow the lawn (previously plastic turf) and nurture our plants to create our favourite place to socialise during the warmer months. The location couldn't be more perfect - a street away from our nursery, less than 5 minites to the station, several great pubs (thr North Star is our favourite) nearby, and Wanstead Flats around the corner providing the perfect early morning dog walk setting. To top all of this off Homies on Donkeys Taqueria has just opened up on thr high street selling amazing tacos!"

Our Local Guide:
Leytonstone

Barfield Road, Leytonstone — Stow Brothers

There’s more to Leytonstone than first meets the eye. Say the name to one person and they might think of the grand houses around Hollow Ponds, while say it to someone else and they’ll mention burgeoning South Leytonstone, or maybe the popular Bushwood. There are many different pockets, but they’re all united by the same inclusive community who recognise that it’s the balance of it all that makes Leytonstone so great.

The centre is arguably the high street with its eclectic shops and eateries, but you only have to venture slightly further away and you’ll come across hidden gems like bar Filly Brook on Grove Green Road, music venue Luna Lounge in Bushwood, or the The Hitchcock Hotel in Upper Leytonstone. Travel a little beyond and you’ll find further contrast with the vast green space that Hollow Ponds and the Wanstead Flats provide. Simply put, you’ll never get bored in Leytonstone.
