We’ve loved having both George Lane and Wanstead High Street just a short stroll away, giving us the chance to explore the many charming cafes, restaurants and pubs, not to mention the vast green expanse of Epping Forest which provides a perfect escape for weekend walks and outdoor activities. Our favourite part of the property, however, has to be the peaceful back garden. Whether simply enjoying a morning coffee in the sunshine or having friends and family round for an afternoon barbecue, it’s the perfect private retreat."

Beautiful property, great amenities, green space, a wonderful sense of community and excellent transport links, honestly, what’s not to love about South Woodford?

No wonder it’s become such a popular area for families looking to make their money go a little further. For a start, there’s a Marks and Spencer and Waitrose on the vibrant high street, as well as independent stores and eateries. It has incredibly easy access to the City and West End (18 mins to Liverpool St or 27 mins Oxford Circus on the Central line), and with Epping Forest a stone’s throw in the other direction, residents really do feel like they’ve got the best of both worlds. 

No wonder it’s such a happy community. Luckily they’re a friendly, inclusive bunch too, pleased to welcome both new residents and visitors alike.
