"We have loved living here! We got the chance to see the development being built from planning to execution. Living close to the tube station is a big plus for us as it brings a lot of flexibility. The south and west facing characteristics of this apartment ensure sunlight all day and both bedrooms have generous areas. The building is warm and there is great soundproofing between floors. Being on the last floor also allows us to have an open space balcony with full views towards Canary Wharf, Stratford, and the Wetlands' south reservoir. We are loving seeing the area changing with more and more independent businesses appearing, Jaunty or Hermanos are perfect places to grab a coffee; Wildgrains has the best bread and pastries; Breweries are just a few steps away. There's lots of events for everyone constantly going on in Crate and Big Penny Social. If you have kids, Walthamstow is a very child-friendly borough with lots of parks and activities to do with the little ones. Blackhorse View is a proper community where people talk to each other and there's always someone to help if you need – we will really miss everyone."

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too. 

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
